CCAD Degree show

It was CCAD graduates degree show opening night on the 7th June. Every bodies work looked great and professionally presented.
I loved having my work up on display. The show was up for a full week and I got some lovely comments written about my work.

Product visualisation

To show how my collection would look on real garments I used Photoshop to edit my designs onto catwalk models..
To make my product boards more interesting I screen printed my designs onto them, I think the colours all come together well and my prints work well as a collection.

No more University

After a very hectic 20weeks completing my FMP it is now complete, been handed in and marked.
Here is some images of my final collection that I haven't already posted..

London!

Im currently in London doing a 2 week work placement at Pattern Textiles Ltd. I have completed my first week and have learnt alot already. Everything is so fast moving and several designs get printed per day!
I have been very busy making printed samples into dress shapes by hemming them and adding pleates, sleaves/straps to give them shape, and to give you an idea of how the print would look on a garment.

With it being easter weekend I was off today and used my day off wisely by having a day shopping in oxford street!

Busy busy busy...

I seem to have slacked with the blog posting recently! I have been extremely busy with my final collection.
Since I last posted I have completed several final samples using screen printing, digital printing and transfer printing.
My collection seems to be coming together nicely and I'm excited to complete the last few after Easter!
Here is some pictures of a few of the samples I have been working on...
